This is a new area for the wholesale industry. How many of us have received a gift card to a store we do not shop at? Or worse, a store isn’t in our area and we don’t want to shop online for an item. Entrepreneurs are capitalizing on the boom in gift cards by purchasing them from the owner at a fraction of the value, and then selling the gift cards in wholesale batches.
